Boatyard days

Paisley provided moral support and supervision for our efforts - what a trooper!

Our first haulout was a complete success. We prepped and painted the bottom; and cleaned, polished, and waxed the topsides. Barry also changed out the stuffing box packing. All of these activities we did for the first time, and we think we did pretty well! We lived "on the hard" for five days with Paisley, and actually had a decent time in the boatyard. Even work can be fun when it's done out of doors with the proper attitude!

Believe it or not, the bottom is blue -- the black color is soft growth from sitting in in the water for two years!
