New Belize Condo Photos

Mosey on over to our Belize blog (link immediately on the right) and click on the "Construction" tab for a few new photos from February 27... it's really coming along!

We recently met some super friendly fellow dog owners in the complex who had found a place to let their furkids off leash to chase balls and sticks. Paisley was excited to join their little group and made fast friends. She's the only "little dog" in the group, but holds her own pretty well with Cayman the Viszla and Leeds the Lab. Ruby the Boxer has come once, but her owner is very busy, so she doesn't get to play as much as the others.

Here's the main "play yard" in the apartment complex:

On Saturday, Rhian, Matt, Barry, and I took Cayman and Paisley to the neighborhood elementary school, where we threw balls and ran the dogs. They had a blast! It was unseasonably warm, so Paisley got pretty worn out and drank lots of water, leading to an unfortunate (and extremely rare) indoor urination incident when we returned home. But aside from that, a good time was had by all.

Barry also took a few videos. It's his first attempt with the camera I got him for Christmas, so they're a bit jittery, but you can get the idea how much fun was had by all.

Barry took this last shot today, but it was so cute I had to include it. "Puppy" (her new favorite toy, from my mother at Christmas) had just gotten a much needed wash and dry (pee-eww!), and Paisley was making sure no one took him away again!

Belated Christmas Beach Photos

My brother Adam is definitely a better photographer than I am, having an artist's eye for composition and lighting. He finally got his Christmas photos posted on Facebook, so I am sharing my favorites in this entry. And for those who were waiting with baited breath, these will finally prove that yes, I actually was at the beach with my family!
