Another boat trip, more projects completed, and a little sailing thrown in for fun. We spent Christmas through after New Year's Day at the marina on Logos, our Catalina 30, and experienced a little of everything, weather-wise. From 70s to 20s, from dead calm to 35+ knot gusts, from rain to frost to bright blue skies. No snow, however! It was a relatively quiet, peaceful time, interrupted occasionally by rapid-fire gunshots from duck hunters in the woods near our marina, the barking of nearby dogs, or the revving of an engine as a motorboat passed near our slip. We had a few maintenance mishaps, some far too embarrassing to relate here, and repeat trips to town to purchase various tools, but overall, we enjoyed our time aboard, away from the hustle and bustle of our normal lives.
